I am kind of in love with blogs....I like to read all kinds. Tiny little blogger-hosted-nobody-knows-them blogs (like moi) to big ones that have millions of readers.
Below are my favorites...starting with running blogs, of course, but I've thrown in some of the others from my Must List ranging from mommy blogs to political blogs.
The Runners
Runners Rambles Aron is in love with Ultras....(What, you don't run 50 miles--that is FIFTY miles-- for fun?). She lives and run in the Bay Area and posts the most beautiful shots of her favorite trails. And she is full of lots of really great info. She also maps out her training cycles on spreadsheets. Need I say more?
Skinny Runner She is part machine. And it's no biggie....she's self-depreciating, funny and runs like a mad women.
The Hungry Runner Girl This girl is hilarious.....She eats A LOT. And is really fast. She also has probably one of the cutest babies ever. Who will totally grow up to be a runner, just like her mama.
Once Upon a Lime Sarah is freaking hilarious. And she knows this girl.
Shut Up and Run Super funny running mama who has great advice, talks about farts and runs her a$$ off.
The Mamas (& Papas)
Rants From Mommyland Kate and Lydia are two moms that are straight the funniest mom bloggers out there. Full Stop. Everything that is absurd about raising Little Terror Suspects (how Lydia refers to her children) is written about here. Five stars.
Dooce Heather is hilarious. And real. And she has two adorable girls and a dog named Chuck.
Manic Mommies Erin and Kristin are moms just trying to do it all. And then some. Their podcast is hilarious -- find them on iTunes for a good weekly dose of sanity while trying to keep all the balls in the air.
stark.raving.mad.mommy Cannot get enough of mama's who are funny as schmidt. The only way to get through this crazy ride we call parenting is to laugh at the absurd, poke gentle fun at each other, and Tell It in the realest way possible.
Jason Good 365 This dude is really funny. See, the Mamas have not cornered the market on writing hilariously about being a parent. This guy is really really funny.
Bad Parenting Moments Telling it like it is....one hilarious bad moment at a time.
Just Plain Awesome
Katy Bourne is a friend of mine. In real life. And she's an amazing writer, a pretty damn good jazz singer, and all around cool chick. Did I mention she's a writer? Another of her kick-a$$ blogs....
